Citsanex CSL 1 was developed following requests by leading winemakers connected with contract wine blending, packaging and distribution companies where a single process was required for cleaning, sanitising and some yeast control in stainless steel tanks, lines and equipment to provide faster production turnaround.

There was also a need to replace liquid sodium hypochlorite and caustic and chloride based cleaning and sanitising powders from the production bottling tank and line systems to satisfy OCH&S and environmental concerns, together with the need to remove the potential for any chlorine residues remaining after cleaning and sanitising tanks and lines, tainting wine, as the value of label "brands", and the reputation of the winemaker client would be significantly diminished in the market place if the consumer received a tainted product.

As with our other Wine Industry products, every component of CITSANEX CSL 1 has been carefully selected to provide economic broad spectrum sanitising of bacteria and yeasts, together with cleaning capability, and no adverse effect on wine and plant and equipment, whilst satisfying Workplace Health issues and environmental concerns. Wastewaters may be discharged direct to sewers or ponding systems without any known current or projected restrictions relating to this product.
