Preventive and Curative treatment of oxidative browning

1 - COMPOSITION

POLYLACT is a powder made of PVPP and casein on a cellulosic base.

2 - CHARACTERISTICS

The blend of PVPP and Casein in the POLYLACT allows, thanks to a synergetic effect, to obtain a smoother and more complete action on phenolic compounds, while avoiding the drawbacks induced by a higher dosage of PVPP or Casein, when using pure products.

 

POLYLACT:

ð improves colour and organoleptic characters of white wines

ð acts evenly on all types of phenolic compounds allowing a preventive as well as a curative action on the browning of white wines.

 

3 - DIRECTION FOR USE

POLYLACT is recommended :

- to treat preventively white wines which could be exposed to long or extreme storage conditions dosage : 150-300 mg/litre.

- to treat curatively oxidised white wines dosage : 250-700 mg/litre.

A few hours before use, pour slowly POLYLACT in 20 times its weight in cold water while mixing.

The prepared solution is then added gradually while mixing energetically to obtain an even and complete mixing to the wine.

The use of a venturi makes the addition easier and more homogeneous.
