LALVIN EQ54 Lalvin EQ54 was the first strain produced by Lallemand using the MBR process. EQ54 has gained winemaker acceptance over recent vintages. Moderate to quick fermentations have been achieved, and EQ54 contributes balanced mouthfeel with a natural sensory impact which allows for enhanced varietal fruit. EQ54 has also been used to restart stuck malolactic fermentations with success.
