Specific wine yeast, selected for its very good implantation (killer) and its ability to produce wines with more complexity and fruity character.

Strain isolated and selected by the SARCO Laboratory - Bordeaux- FRANCE.

 

2 - CHARACTERISTICS :

Ä Very good implantation due to its killer character.

Ä Fermentation potential up to 14.5% Alc/Vol.

Ä Quick starting ensuring a regular and complete achievement of the fermentation.

Ä Low production of sulphurated compounds.

Ä Good extraction of polyphenols.

 

3 - DIRECTION FOR USE :

10 to 20 g of ACTIFLORE F5 per 100 liters of must

20 to 30 g per 100 l of wine to restart stuck fermentation

 

ð White and Rosé wines :

ACTIFLORE F5 allows to produce dry and fruity wines.

ð Red wines :

ACTIFLORE F5 realises a good fermentation and gives a better structure as well as more aromatic complexity to the wines (spiciness).

 

PREPARATION

Mix 1 Kg of ACTIFLORE F5 with 10 liters of water at 40°C added with 1 Kg of sugar.

Leave for 20 mn, then stir slowly. The yeasts are ready for use. The addition will be carried out by introducing directly in the fermenting tank and by homogenizing. After rehydration, avoid difference in temperature over 5°C between the prepared yeasts and the must to inoculate.
