Portuguese isolate for production of fresh, fruity, clean wines for sauvignon blanc, chenin blanc, riesling, chardonnay and semillon. Killer active, medium fermentation rate, alcohol tolerant to 14 percent (v:v) and optimum temperature 15 to 32°C. Due to its low nutrient requirements this strain is highly recommended to ferment juices with low solids content form hot regions.
