Lalvin Rhone L2323

Selected from a culture collection of over 600 different yeast strains sampled over the last 15 years from vineyards in the Rhone Valley. Killer active. Low adsorption of phenolics on the yeast cell wall produces wines with good colour intensity and tannic structure. Produces varietal aromas of licorice and blackcurrant. Recommended for red wine, has a high production and tolerance to alcohol, producing wines up to 14-15% alcohol per volume.
